Encouraging the love of letters, words and language!
This year our Second-Year High School students had the opportunity to take part in the 1st Spelling Bee Competition. It started out with a Preliminary competition, went on to Semi-Finals, where 28 students-spellers made their way to the Final Competition.
The Finals took place at the end of the school year, making it an event to be repeated next year. The spellers' classmates and the Teaching Staff composed the audience which cheered and applauded every competitor.
The purpose of this competition is to help students improve their spelling, increase their vocabularies, learn concepts and develop correct English usage that will help them in all their activities when using English as a foreign language.

Για πρώτη φορά στο σχολείο πραγματοποιήθηκε Διαγωνισμός Ορθογραφίας για τους μαθητές της Β΄ Τάξης. Αφού έγινε η προκαταρκτική επιλογή τον Φεβρουάριο με προφορικό διαγωνισμό ορθογραφίας, δημιουργήθηκε μια ομάδα από 28 μαθητές και μαθήτριες για να περάσουν στην τελική φάση, που έγινε στο τέλος της σχολικής χρονιάς με κοινό τους ίδιους τους συμμαθητές τους. Συμμαθητές και εκπαιδευτικοί χειροκρότησαν τους διαγωνιζόμενους με μεγάλη ζέση.
Συγχαρητήρια στους
συμμετέχοντες στην διαδικασία και φυσικά πολλά μπράβο στους πρώτους τρεις
επιτυχόντες.
Βραβεύτηκαν: 1η Θέση: η Μίλλι Πρέστον, 2η Θέση: η Κατερίνα Παπαδοπούλου και 3η θέση: ο Αντόν Κβαστ
